Plot Summary
In a magical world, everyone gets their "jobs" from the gods when they are born. This means heroes are born, not created. Ein, however, has the job of "Appraiser," which keeps him far from being seen as a hero. He has been used, mistreated, and finally left behind by the adventurers he trusted. Feeling like there is no point in continuing, Ein thinks about giving up. But, just when he feels it's over, he discovers that his job, which he thought was useless, might actually help him become a hero after all.
